The Lion King - Archetypal Characters

    An archetypal character is a hero, a villan, a mentor, or an outcast. There are a lot of examples of archetypal characters in The Lion King. For example there is Simba. Simba is an archetypal character because he is the hero who saved everyone in his home from when Scar was king and brought the hyenas to live with the lions. Scar could also be an archetypal character because he is the villan who took over as king after he killed Simba's Father, Mufasa and told Simba to run away. Some more archetypal characters are Timon and Pumba. They are archetypal charcters because they don't really belong anywhere and they are outcasts in the jungle, along with Simba when he left his home and went with them.
