Yes both of these movies are in Wonderland, but they start out in Britain. I don't lknow the exact time period but I'm guessing that it is not recent because of the way that they talk and they dress. The setting has a great impact on Alice because she is confused and lost and wants to go home. I liked the New Alice in Wonderland because it has more of a plot and Alice has to accomplish something in the end.

The setting in Newsies makes me think that its going to be about a bunch of hoodrats getting in trouble and that they would have to get themselves out of some trouble. The character's life situations affect them because when they try to do a strike it won't really matter that much since they are just newsies and they don't matter. If this movie was placed in a place other than a city it would be completely different. I think this because if it were in just a little town then the newsies would probably get what they wanted in a short amount of time since its a smaller place to convince versus New York which has a lot more important things to worry about.

The plots in these two movies are the same for the most part besides that in Rear Window he thinks that Thorwald killed his wife and in Disturbia Kale thinks that Turner killed a missing girl on the news and a club girl that Turner brought home one night. Another difference is that Jeffreys is stuck inside because he broke his leg and Kale is stuck inside because he is on house arrest. I think that they made this difference so that Disturbia would be more believable and so that Kale could move around the house more to see other things. In my opinion Disturbia is better. I think this because

In both of the movies, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the characters are the same beside some of the moms in the first ones are dads in the second one. I don't think that this makes any difference in the movie. One character change that did make a difference is Charlie's dad in the and the Chocolate Factory. He made a difference because he would get Charlie toothpaste caps so he could make a replica of the chocolate factory and that really shows Charlie's fasination in the chocolate factory. Mostly all of the moods of the characters are the same in both of the movies because Willy Wonka. In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Wonka is more weird and has a lot of flashbacks and in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory he is weird but most of the time he's normal. I think that the characters in the movies are basically the same but if I had to pick one I would say the characters in Willy Wonka and the CHocolate Factory. I think this because they are more

The story Forrest Gump starts out when Forrest is just a little kid in BLANK. Then when Forrest grows up he goes to college in BLANK. You can tell that the time period was not recent in this movie because while Forrest was in college Black people were just then going to school with White people. After Forrest is done with college he goes into the Army and has to go fight in Vietnam. When Forrest gets out of the army he goes back home and takes care of his mama. Then him and Jenny get toghether and have a son. The setting of Forrest Gump affected Forrest because most of the time Forrest was not with Jenny, his friend that he is in love with, because she was always on the road.

The plot in the movie Philidelphia is when a lawyer, Andy, gets AIDS and the law firm that he works at fires him because of it. So then Andy went out looking for a lawyer and the lawyer that he hired was homophobic. So then they went to court. While in court Andy passes out and has to be rushed to the hospital. Andy ended up winning the case while in the hospital, but he died a few days later.
